yes, use a zip tie to bunch together what you don't need

Do a search for a tutorial on how to make your own RCA's - it's around the site somewhere (I've read it several times). You'll be able to extract the know how in order to make/modify your RCA's. Cheers.

If you've got a noise problem loops of extra cable might not help but its not going to make much difference IMO...

if you can shorten them will depend on if you can take apart the ends to desolder, shorten, resolder and put them back together.. simple...

only other option is to hack the cable and patch it back together... I'd use solder and seal the seams tape and shrink wrap...

more likely to have noise if your run your RCA's along side the power wire down the side of the vehical, keep em on seperate sides of the vehical to avoid that problem

noise from the RCA's being wrapped up by itself? its an extremly low voltage wire with a shielded outer coating, I can't see how it would cause a problem.

I made my own RCA cables, so yes, its easy if you can solder. You'll need new connectors. I used Canare, but you can buy connectors lots of places.
