Unhappy Sirius Connect and Alpine headunit

I recently bought the Sirius Connect module for my Alpine CDA 9885 headunit. All is installed correctly and for some reason the headunit isn't automatically recognizing the satellite radio unit. Am I missing something?

Jared, did you get is from us or from autotemp?

we had a run of defective tuners, mostly jvc and sony, but at least one alpine.

make sure you have good constant and ground and that the 1amp fuse isn't blown (i always replace that fuse for a 3amp)

I actually bought it from Visions. I thought the first one I got was defective so I exchanged it for another and still have the same problem. I checked the power and ground with my multimeter and all is good.
