Sony Xplod?

Is this sub any good?

seems cheap enough. Ive seen a few people bashing these? are they really that bad at this price? oh, i got an extra $3 off too. or should i just take it back?

they move air. but quality and performance wise they are one step up from the botom of the barrel.

you wont break any spl or sq records with them, but with the right amount of power, right box, not abused (clipped signal) they sound quite good for the money.

anyone who says they are total crap are either on the bandwagon, have never used them, or had expectations way too high for them.

For the money, you'd be hard pressed to find something "car audio" that's better.

that's ok get more people on the bandwagon. BTW that xm-2000r is a pos too. If you see on ebay don't bid it.

Cool. Thanks for the input. Since i have no idea what Spl and sq are and i dont plan to enter any competions, then i think it will work for me. Thanks again.

It will work, but it's pretty low quality. Spend an exra $40 and get something alot more decent.

That's the problem, can you get better for a little more money?...for sure you can.
but he obviously bought those because that's what he could afford or wanted to spend at the time.

if this was a choice between the xplods or no sub at all, then surely these are better than nothing at all

I did a quick search and can't find anything for $55 that I'd pick over these.
