strapping the unstrappable?

Street B allows only 2 conductors between the amp rack and the subbox, but allows two monoblocks. I assume the only way to do this is with strapable amps, master/slave idea.

I have two monoblocks the aren't strappable. But I found this unit>>>

Hifonics MXL-100
Hifonics Maxxsonics Maxx-Link MLX-100 Universal Amplifier Bridging Interface and Synchronization Module

Any opinions on this unit?

Say I bought this...
Soooo. Without being strapped, I run 2 - 2ohm DVC in series to one amp, its a 2ohm load.
Strapped amps would be a 1ohm load to each. correct?
Then its only 2 conductors?

copy the embeded info from youtube. Then click new reply on here, click the little Youtube button in the message box, and paste the info between the YT markers.

Cool. Thanks Feezy, DS..
Seems like it will work huh. I would just wire the subs as if wiring a 2 ohm load to a single amp.
Then because they're linked both put out a one ohm load...nice..
Here's a link to the owner manual...pdf

2 - US Amps xt2000d. Rated at 1000w @ 1ohm .
We were planning on running one on each sub (we're getting new 2ohm dvc's for the one ohm load) but then I checked the rules.
The new subs I plan to get are competition grade, so that takes us out of street stock and into Street C with our 4 conductors.
Figured strapping the two would get us put into Street B, hoping for less newbie embarresment lol

I just read the rules quickly and it looks like running them strapped will give you the 2 conductors allowed in street B, 1 amp per sub would give you 4 conductors and be street c. And by the looks of the street stock b rules you can run 1 amp per sub as long as the amps make no more than 2000 watts total. Have you tried posting this in the SPL section? They would be able to give you all the help you'd need with rules and regulations. Good luck!

I think I understand the rules as it pertains to us..It's the "competition grade" subs that will take me out of Street stock. Thats all.
I really don't want to say the sub brand for conformation yet, might jinx the buy...lol.. But I'll give you's a small hint, 50pounds each sporting a bikini wax and a thong.. lol
But they are no doubt competition grade , not allowed in street stock.

Its good though, I really just want to know where we're at SPL wise, thats the only reason for us to compete right now, winning anything hasnt even crossed my mind. lol
Just don't wanna get spanked ya know?
