Subs aren’t hitting proper
Hi all,
Now while this audio is not for a car, but rather a boat, I figured it all runs the same and there are more car audio experts than boat audio experts out there.
I have two 1000w DVC subs installed on my boat and I tried running an old amp I had but they wouldn’t hit at all so I figured it wasn’t getting enough juice to pound the twin 1000w needed. I bought a boss 2600w full range amp on Amazon and figured that would be plenty of power and I could run my speakers on it too for better non bass audio. I hooked it all up today and the sub was hitting this time but it was actually unnoticeable compared to the normal speakers. No amount of setting adjustments changed anything or changing wiring series/parallel made any comparable difference.
Any suggestions to try? Already cut the holes and installed the subs so I’d like them to work lol
