I have two audiobahn subs(sound Q series ALUM12J) 1000 RMS each for a total of 2000RMS. I drive a 2006 toyota corolla CE i have an amp that i purchased from audiobahn also, the amp model number is A12001DJ its a d series monoblock amp. I wanted to know if the amp can push these speakers or will i have to replace this amp? and also what kind of changes do i need to make to my car to power this type of audio set up? yellow cap, cap,power cell etc... I want something heart pounding, but don't have complete knowledge of car audio so advice would be much appreciated.

that amp will work well for those subs, just be aware that audiobahn isn't really top quality for an SPL system but regardless 800w to two subs should blow your doors off.

keeping the amp and subs you have I'd just recommend a good quality install, I've always used knu concepts for my wiring as they are usually a bit oversized and good value. Do not buy a cap they are pointless if you do everything else right. Focus on a good quality battery under the hood(yellow top), do 'the big 3' upgrade, and at least a 4awg power wire to the trunk, if that isn't enough and you get light dim problems then look into a second battery in the trunk and a second run of 4awg or a new run of 2awg.
