looking for a spool or lots of runs of 0ga power wire
thought i would post here before i went to a store to see if i could save a little off retail
i need about 30 ft i think
im adding a batt in the trunk

your best bet, any welding supply store (being in salmon arm I know there are stores that can help) Orrr even the marine supply store

 

ive seen a lot of people with welding wire...
how is it compared to actual power wire
does it come in same ga as regs power wire?
is it much cheaper?

 

well when you compare it, Welding wire is same, or better...(cheaper 0ga power wire, is more like 2ga welding wire) Its just not as flexible most times.
princess auto has 0/1 ga for fairly cheap, knukoncepts sell s it for 1.75/1'!

Salmon Arm does not have squat for parts stores. It is a 1 hour drive for the OP to get to any store that might have something for him. I did not get around to pricing 0 gauge today, got stuck doing too many other things. That said I have it in stock and not only can ship it up there but might even have the "father drop off service" available as he is coming down here for a visit soon and will be returning back that way shortly thereafter.

 

I think that would be a good bet for yoU^^ dropped off!!! lol
