Looking for a good high output subwoofer
Im new to car audio so I'm looking for a good subwoofer which has a good high RMS at least 500watts. I can get a Rockford P3 but im looking to get something a little better if possible. Anyone have any good offers email me at Branavan.muralee@gmail.com

Price range? What are your amp specs? 1 ohm, 2ohm stable? SQ or spl? or combination of both?

Umm
Im obviously really just trying to figure things out cause I have no clue about anything here what so ever. I have a Pyle PLA2840 4000 WATT AMPLIFIER 2 CHANNEL. The Specs on it show:
2000 Watts x 2 Output
4000 Watts x 1 Bridged Output
Variable Hi/Lo Electronic Crossover Network
Variable Input Level (Gain) Control
Variable Bass Boost
Thermal / Overload / Short Circuit Protection
MOSFET PWM Power Supply
Power & Protection LED Indicators
High & Low Level Inputs
Gold Plated RCA Inputs
Remote Bass Boost
Remote Turn On/Off
Soft Turn-On Circuit
Protection Circuitry
High Level MOLEX Inputs
Anti-Thump Turn-On
S/N Ratio: 95dB
T.H.D: < 0.04%
Frequency Response: 15Hz- 30kHz
Dimensions: 11.34''W x 2.24''H x 21''L
I dont know what that means.
Can anyone tell me what ohms that would be running at and the Rms of it?
I have a 4 Farad Power Acoustik capacitor, everything in the car is stock at the moment. So can anyone tell me what ohms I should be looking for if I want to be playing dual subs and would they be able to play off of this amp and also what RMS i can use with this?

Your amp will make 4000w of power if it is on life support and there is a power surge. On a good day, going downhill, all oars in the water, the turbo wide open, the gerbils running at full tilt on the treadmill, all batteries charged to the top, 20 cans of JOLT cola + Red Bull, it is going to make about 800w rms of power into 4 ohm mono. Are you after one sub or two and what price range?
If you are after one sub, it needs to be a single 4 ohm or dual 2 ohm variety. If you are after two, they need to be dual 4 ohm coils on both. This is solely for the reasons of matching to the amp properly.
