hey how it going people i would like to ask for some advise from you all especially does that have built boxes for kickers

i have 2 L5's 12" being push at about 1000rms by a v900xd
i want to rebuilt my box but need a new design and spec but not sure how to get this

the space i have to play with is 28dept x 33 wide and 13 height

am looking to built it for the low bass (32 hertz maybe)

the current box i have broke 2-3 times now(braces) and doesn't sound right anymore

kicker website said i require min rec 3cf of area or max 6cf of area space

ill be doing aerosol ports unless someone can design me a box that will improve the SPL of my subs

You have S15L5s, and with the room you have you have just under 7 cubes (6.95), you have just dont have enough room for a big ported box with subs, and you would have a very small port. I will try and see what i can do. You do have a very low height though if you were able to go maybe 15-16 inches high, that could make all the difference. If you want to properly use the 2 15s, you can go with a moderate sized sealed box and add 25-50% of polyfill. This will still achive some of the lows you want. And finally if you are looking for SPL, you are probably better off using just one and put it in a proper built box that will most likely outperform the 2 of them together.

opps i forgot to say i have 12" Kicker l5 2008 Models x 2

this is my current box, but it broke so much times it just sound weird now at low frequency and it only made of 3/8 MDF

I really want something that would just BLAST HARD
i play alot of rock but i also play stuff like lil jhon, young geezy , slim thug e-40 etc etc

You edited your post after i posted. So now that i know you have 12s and not 15s that makes it a bit easier. Ill try and design something up for ya. Are you sure you cant go any higher and have the subs face into the cabin of the car? Also i see you used body filler for your holes, just a tip, you you put it on you want to start sanding only a couple minutes after applying it and it has dried to the touch, cause it will take for ever to sand down proper unless you have a grinder.

Finally what voice coil configuration are they? Dual 2 or Dual 4, cause one has a substantial lower Fs and BL then the other.

their on 2ohmz in parallel, to the amp
amp is a V900XD doing 1000rms
but i heard this amp can burp 0.5 ohms(4000rms) by Killer KLown
he came to my place to sell me that 0 gauge

and yes the box is sanded and painted already

Oh am using 8 gauge speaker wire, would that reduce power to the amp
i went from 14 to 8 power wires
