All you guys give me way too much credit. I have a phenomenal teacher, aka mentor, aka friend who is always guiding me in the right direction. That is the one and only, the Godfaddah of SPL, aka, the Prolifik one, aka, Mista Tinted, aka ma nizzle for shizzle: Faddah Yuli. He deserves just as much of the praise if not more for his tutelage.

sadly aint got the scrilla to buy any 6 inch ports so will be forced to use the 4 3 inch ports for this one and will be using bigger ports for next year. This is just a small show thats local and i didnt get to compete really at all this year cause i had 2 surgeries so i just wanna slap something together and post some numbers. I def seen a few designs you have done that i like. I am thinking about trying the sorta L shaped box for this one. I will be going out to car in a lil while and i will take some cardboard and see if the specs i have in my head will work and i will keep you posted on what i can find out after i go and spend a few more hours and measuring and scratching my head. lol

ok so i sat outside and measured and tested with cardboard boxes and have come up with this. The box can be 12 inch's tall giving me a length of 24 inchs from back seat to hatch. So i think i will try building the L box u showed me DJ. I like the look of this design and it not something you see everyday. I donno if you suggest the L one to be but after much screwing around with cardboard and with the tiny bit of room i have the L seems like best option. Once again i know u said go with 6 inch ports but for now my money is tight and i will try the 4 3 inch aero ports. Ne ways let me know what u think if i have the right idea or not. I am gonna try and do a skecth on comp program to see if i can get a visual of what dimension i am thinking i need to try and use.

would be one long drive if i wanted to hire them to make my car loud they are across the country from me i am BC so long ways away. Plus I like to learn new things and try these things out for myself, never learn if dont try. I do alot of my dealings with dale from custom car and sound and I am sure rex killa and that fatheryulli would say he knows what he is doing. Dale suggested i post on here and see if dj and yuli had ne ideas and once we have ideas we can input numbers into dales comp and see if i have right specs. I will taken subs for recone tomorrow and will start box hopefully tomorrow to. I will take pics of box build and have to keep you all posted. Jones by ne chance do u remember a ruff set of dimensions on the L shape box you showed me with the single i think 8 inch aero...........

my advice to you, with that car dont try to throw too much cone or power at it.

get a decent 3-4k amplifier and a single 12 or two 10's. that should put you into 152 range with a proper box.
