Back to the Pioneers now, they have an EBP of 69.6 so they seem to be more inclined to be ported than sealed . . .
I guess, I'm inclined to believe that the EBP be a more accurate indicator of "portability" since it takes the FS into account . . . and since now-a-days subs are being built with heavier cones and massive magnets and stiffer suspensions is it possible that we can be a bit more relaxed about tuning frequencies are start tuning below the fs?
Isn't the fs the free-air resonance of the sub? But that doesn't necessarily mean that it will be flopping out of control below that does it?

i remember those boxes......werent they really effective at launching woofers
