Acoustic/ sound material inside of sub enclosure
I was going to some shops today searching for sub boxes, I was told that some places charge 40-50 dollars for something called acoustic material that they say will make a night and day diffrence in sound quality... I am wondering if this is true and if this is at all nececairy,

i heard it makes the OHMP more loud or deep , i dont know really, it seems ****ed up, The box iam looking to use it for is the bassworx ported twin 12's, Ive put people on wait cause i cant find the damn right box!!!!!
it doesn't mean you should. It depends on he subs frequency response in your car now. adding loose polyfill will just lower the f3 point by maybe 2 hz. Not drastically noticable. If it makes you feel better you can rip up a wal-mart body pillow (cheapest source for polyfil @$4.49 for like 3cu.ft of the stuff)
