i dont know about for your room but i have these 2 of these same subs in a ported bass slammers box and have them in a suburban right now and a grand cherokee once before and love them, but if you can figure out how to power them in your room the box should be the least of your worries

ya the box i have now is a bit to small for my sub i think 1.3cu ft3 thats a bit small i would think that would be for a 10'' sub here is the box http://www.bassslammer.com/products/...mmerBS112S.pdf

i only have a little sony amp running mine, the spec sheet for a single 12 says a sealed box 1.25 cu ft and 2.00 cu ft for a vented box so the box you have is fine and pretty good for a pre fab box.

the bass slammer dual ported box i have is 3.00 cu ft and its nothing fancy or a "killer" system but it works for me. my suburban is probably pretty close to the size of your room and on top of that im cheap but picky lol.

this may **** people off but buy the cheapest pre fab ported box you can find and try it out, sounds like you have the right ideas and to be honest these subs arnt like $1000 monsters so who cares if its all perfect. not trying to offend you, thats just the way i see things as id never say something so bold if i didnt like, use them myself
