Box for 2 10" Alpine Type S's
Well ive finally bought my subs and ended up with exactly what i wanted. I am wondering whether i should make one box for both subs or separate boxes for each sub. As stated they are 10' Alpine Type S's and they will be in a 04 Regular Cab Silverado. Wondering what would be the better setup. Im also replacing all my speakers. Im just wondering if i need to put bass filters on them because of the subs being installed. Thanks

do you have room for 1 box? or would it be better room wise for you to make 2 single boxes? It really all depends on what works for you, I would make to single boxes if I were you, but thats me. Where did you plan on putting the subs? Under the back seat..or on the floor or the seat?
Also you have to decide on what you want it to sound like, now I know Type S subs are no crazy spl/sq subs, but I would definately suggest porting the box(es) because they will probably sound best that way.
As for the bass filters, I don't think they will be needed.

ITs a reg cab so i have no back seat. The box will be going behind the seats and i think im going to go with one single box. I dont really need the room back there so it can be devoted to the subs. Ive heard the Type S's sound the best in sealed enclosure, but i really dont know. Thanks for the help.
