Box for 2 x pioneer TS-W3001D4s

I just blew my old subs a little while ago and I was able to pick up some pioneers the only problem is that my box is way too big. Each sealed chamber is roughly 2.1 cu/ft right now and it sounds like SH*T because the recomended for these subs are 0.8 enclosure size.

Now im thinking of just modifying my current box because it is pretty elaborate and I put a lot of money into it because of the plexi and mirrors etc... but what I want to know is would it be better to go and get more plexi and create new walls inside the box to make it smaller or should I just sell it and start from scratch?

If I do have to start over what would be best for these subs, sealed or ported? I love my low breath taking bass but i am also a sucker for the high hair standing bass, so my next question would be if i make a new ported box what should I tune it to and what software should i use to design and tune the box?

Thanks in advance for the input.

If each chamber is roughly 2 cubic feet, why not go ported?

Spend the money on a nice set of 4" aeroports. Make them roughly 11" length and you should be good to go.

the ebp of that driver makes it more suited for sealed.... so make the inner chamber smaller... the results are going to be worth it.. my 2502/d4s are in .7 before basket displacement, now they dont go deaf loud but the bass is tight low and more than enough....

Well the box takes up all of my trunk so I was thinking of making two boxes to fit each sub in the space behnd the wheel wells inverted and facing away from eachother. I think its kind of a waste of space to have half of my box as dead air. I am also investigating the possibility of fiberglassing because I actually would like to go for a more discrete stock look (minus the sub magnets sticking out of course lol)
