Box Help

I bought woofers that came in a box ( ported ) and im not sure how " well designed " ? it is so i was just wondering if i should get a new one or keep the one i have . Thanks.

If it's a generic box, such as a Bassworx or similar, it probably sounds OK but not as good as a box custom made for those particular drivers will.

In order to tell for sure you will need to get the models of the subs and all the dimensions of the box, including the port size......you may have lucked out and found a combination that works quite well, in which case replacing it might not make that big a difference.....then again, if you're going to get into car audio, a custom box no matter which subs you have is pretty much mandatory.....

Besides, it's fun making something for yourself that works better than the one you bought.....

find out the cubic feet, then find out how much cubic feet you need for your subs.
