Can I use Dual enclosure for one sub?

I have a box similar to that one for two 10". Except the subs mount the other direction, also each subwoofer has its own chamber.
Question is, can I use this subwoofer enclosure for 1 subwoofer without any problems or sound distortions?

Since both sub spaces are dedicated I would assume you would have no problem in putting only one sub in there instead of two. That's what I was planning on doing as well.
An isolated 2 sub box is basically two sub boxes glued together side by side.
