Clarion PXW1252. Sealed or Ported?

I know you have used the RE Audio Enclosure calculator on this one. You are closer to around 1.8 cubes @ 39hz

I would suggest an extra inch of depth. Other than that, it looks like it shall do well

Haha yeah I did. Alright thanks, I'll make the adjustments. That should bring the tuning down to what you suggested earlier?

You'll be at around 1.9 cubic feet @ 36hz now. Should be great on overall music.

Alright, sounds good. Figured I'd draw it out and post it just to confirm thats what you meant before I go and build it. Thanks for the help by the way, greatly appreciated.

how do the clarians sound? a shop here has them on sale so i'm thinkin i might upgrade from the Type E's

They sound really good. I first built the box above, and they sounded good, and were extremely loud. But I was looking for a tighter sound, so I built a sealed inclosure and inverted them. They look really good inverted... Here's a pic. (I need to get some chrome sleeving for the green wire tho)

It's a Lanzar MXA242... Not a very good amp at all. It was the first amp I ever bought when I got my license a few years back, and my other one blew so I am just using this temporarily until I save up for a nice monoblock.
