Give Paul(lauf) or anyone at Perfect Tones in Milton a call.

I recently called them to inquire about an enclosure for my truck (since Yuli never stops ravin bout them hehe) and they were friendly, helpful and seemed reasonably priced over the phone.

They also look like the do alot of custom work from what you can see on their site.

Thats where I be goin next month to get my
install done.

the idea would be to have a set up with two 10s, and two amps in some kind of rack.

something like these:

something like the above pics, with two subs and two amps

can i make something like the second one myself? ust find a piece of board that fits snug in the bottom of my trunk, then make the cutouts, and carpet it all? or is there more to it than that?

It's not just a baffle board on the trunk floor. The spare tire well is fiberglassed and then sealed to the mdf.
The 'glassing is the time consuming piece.
