how do i determine the size of the box and port???

Box size is determined by the driver, and port size is determined by a combination of the box size and tuning frequency you want. Just google "port calculator" and you'll find an application that can calculate the port information based on box size and tuning frequency. As for selecting frequency..that's kind of up to you. So near as I can tell most subs seem to do well tuned in the 30-35 Hz range. As for box size, your driver manual should tell you, if not then you can probably find specs with google.

ok..will try that out...im thiniking 1.5 Cu Ft tuned at 32HZ....

Hey all, Oakley1984 just wondering why you didn't cut the top of the baffle on an angle so it would be flush with the top and not have that funny angle sticking up. Was there a reason it was built this way? Nice looking box other than that just curious about the angle.

if you want a really easy program to use that is pretty accurate in desiging sub boxes , try winisd , its free and works great!

is that ok..my config 4 the box...n since this is not a normal rectangular how do i determine the dimensions....
