like it says in the title... my friend went and tore apart a pillow full of feathers n filled the box about half way full of feathers and put it subs in there.... it acually sounded a bit better.

My question is.... wwouldnt that screw the subs up? u got little feathers flyin all over inside the box.. he thought it wouldnt do a thing to the subs, i have to say i have doubts haha but then again nothing has happened to them yet.

 

It depends. If it has a pole vent or any venting into the gap and/or voice coil/former area, it could cause some damage. If there are screens or some form of protection there, then it's not too big of a deal.
