first box

This is the first box that i have done. it is for a 86 s10 blazer and fits behind/over the passenger wheel well. it is not quite finished there is a trip peice that covers the amp and wiring that will be attached to it. the box is going to be carpeted with charcol carpet and the cover/corners will be a black vinyl with white arborite underneath. the colors are not final so I am open to suggestions on color and material

not bad for a first! I see some small gap, just make sure it's air tight.
Also add some bracing for the baffle, it need some reinforcement.

Good job! keep the pics coming

Nice. Burn marks add personality For about $40 you can get a dremel rotary tool with sand paper attachment. you could round your corners to perfect curves with it. My mom uses one to trim her dogs nails they are so accurate. Your top left corner is begging for a custom symbol/emblem.

Nice job. I agree, there has to be something you can put in that open space. Looking forward to seeing the finished box.

ya i was a bit hesitent to use my table saw it is a little tabletob one that has taken off a few fingers from other people. it is about 10 years old and blade hasnt been changed in it. i was thining about carving a chev tie in it but thought it would look stupid so decided against it, it is a m3 15 dual 2. it should be done soon need some money to finish it off though.

lol you had to wear steel toed boots on the sales floor but you wear open toe sandals in the workshop? i love it.
at least for once that saw blade didnt taste blood :P

are you going to fill in the rest of the areas for that flush mounted look?
that box looks sealed? no port?

box is shaping up nicely and once its done it should look really sharp with the contrasting charcoal and vinyl/arborite
