Help with custom sub box .

Hey everyone.
I am sick of my sub box down in cabin of my boat
Two 12" sub. Dvc 4ohms. Facing front of boat.
Leaner power 5002 on 2 ohms
First question , would it hurt if box had a V on the bottom of box?
Or would I need to make it the bottom flat and put my divided in the middle? Fiberglass top and front ,put a angle on front .
Idk how to finger out air space with a down word angle like that .
I just don't want to build it and be short on air space.
Should I use
Fiberglass or plexi glass and how thick.
Thanks

Try running the subs in a more "musical" configuration and attempt a higher Impedance load, like 4-8 Ohms.
Making the sub cabinet asymmetrical is ideal, and a "V" or "cone" shape is ideal, akin to a "Transmission-Line" cabinet.
Wood is preferred, and using different types of wood, helps eliminate cabinet resonance, as does bracing. Thickness will depend on bracing/power. If using in Marine application, "sign board" works best. (same wood lamination as the highway signs)
As a side note, have you considered smaller subs? or Are you trying to break your boat with sonic resonance, while scaring any fish away for miles?

TO FUNNY! I agree, the subs are a bit to much, can get great sound with much less in a fiberglass boat. I think he hate fish. lol

maybe he burbs in the middle of the lake than rakes all the stunned fish... btw if you have a troublesome box dimensions or curvatures you can just put a big bag inside and fill it with water to measure the volume
