How Do I Figure Out A Approximate Port Length
I am building a box for 2 12's in a ported enclosure. I am think about building the box with these specs, and I am curious if the port i have planned out will put me in about the 45hz range.
The box dimensions would be 33w x 14h x 14d , the total cubic feet per sub would come to 1.87. The port i was thinking of sticking in this box is a slot port and i wanna make it 6w x 14h x 18d. Basically what i need to know is if i am aiming in about the right area for port size to hit aprox 45hz area. |
use the RE BOX calculator.
it will get you into the ball park |
