How Do I Figure Out A Approximate Port Length

I am building a box for 2 12's in a ported enclosure. I am think about building the box with these specs, and I am curious if the port i have planned out will put me in about the 45hz range.

The box dimensions would be 33w x 14h x 14d , the total cubic feet per sub would come to 1.87. The port i was thinking of sticking in this box is a slot port and i wanna make it 6w x 14h x 18d.

Basically what i need to know is if i am aiming in about the right area for port size to hit aprox 45hz area.

Are these inside or outside specs?Because you have a 14h and you want your port to be 14h( you need to take in account the wood thickness). Did you take into count the the displacement of the sub?And if these are inside specs, are you looking to tune at 45hz or peak at 45 hz,Because if you are tuning to 45 ,your port length is going to be about 33 inches long, not 18.And if you wanna peak at 45,then its gonna be wayyyyyyyy longer ,probably in the 50's as far as length. And if you use 18 as length you will be tuned to 57hz.
