the best part is the stuff is durable....

if someone hits the lower door with a shoe it
will not matter.I do not have to worry about it
getting marked up

I'm not sure it's the route I would have gone aesthetically after all that work, but it would most certainly be durable and as long as it sounds good and you like it, who cares? Well done.

it will be painted grey to match the interior
once the other skin is done..
also take in mind I plan on tearing this stuff out
next year and putting it into a different car...
so I want the install costs to stay low..

anyways got the components installed..
I used both of the wave guides...tried a pair of tweeters on the
pillars with some sticky puddy..placed them all over but the
tweeter in the wave guide sounded best...
I ended up sticking both tweeters in the doors

wholly crap!!!!!!!! these comps sound SWEET

the way it is set up the sound swallows you whole...

I like it 8)

I took the car down to Crown electronics to show them off..
we opened both doors and stood about 75 feet behind the car
with the system turned up
(running only 50w rms X 4 at the moment)

my god...it was clear as a bell and the midbass is really
impressive...I have always though JBL made the best
Titanium tweeters and I still have the same opinion now

I'm a very happy camper
