JL 10" W7 Enclosure help

Hey, I've been doing a lot of research about box designs. I came across this site and from the posts I've seen you guys seem to be pretty knowledgeable and helpful, so I decided I would ask for some help.

I have a single JL w7 10". So far I've loved it. I have it in a sealed box right now being pushed by a JL 500/1 amp. I feel that I can get way more SPL out of it, thus the reason I have been doing a lot of research. I want to build a box that is going to get me a lot of SPL.

I'm fairly new to building customized boxes for subs, but I know a little bit since I've been doing some research.

I'm wondering, has anyone here made boxes for the 10s that has had success with what I'm trying to do? If so, I'de appreciate your input.

As far as space goes, I have a 97 Accord. The trunk is decent sized, but I can't fit anything crazy in it.

I usually run that sub in about 1.6 cubic foot box ported with dual 3 inch ports length determined by tuning frequency but mosty around 10 inches and that nets way more output than sealed
