Kicker 08S12L74 enclosure

Hey guys,
I'm in need of some help in building an enclosure for a kicker 08S12L74.
I have L-23" D-18" H-16" to work with.
I'm looking to build a slot ported enclosure but am unsure on how much port area to use and how long to make the port.
I would like it to play loud and low, i was told 36hz was a good tuning frequency.
Any help would be great.

It probably wouldn't take it for long periods of time playing test tones at full volume, but in a daily driver setup it would be fine....the key is the setup....correct gain and LP filter settings, correct enclosure type and size and with all that clean headroom in the amp you're golden.....

You could get away with 1500rms to your L5's. They won't like it on long tones, but will take it on normal music. Always nice to have a little head room.
