Judging from the photo, it appears that the MDF bends based on a cut that was made several times - not to the full width of the wood.

Am I right?

Awesome work again!!!! Is there a trick to getting the line of the carpet where it meets the painted section straight? Does it fold under or is it just cut straight real careful? I have seen this on a few of your box builds and will be attempting a ported box soon and would like to do a flared port with the bend and don't know how to end the carpet so smoothly like that. Thanks for any tips or tricks you can pass on.

the secret to cutting carpet is a nice heavy strait edge and a good
supply of sharp blades......
