Needs to be LOUDER!!! (Box design help)

So I went to a sound comp and got 140.9db which is ok... I came in 2nd place. Now a friend of mine has 2x JL 12"w3 v2 sub's and got 145.3 db... I have 2x 12"W6 v2 subs and im only getting 140.9... So i was wondering if anyone could let me know on what to do to get higher. I think that i need to make a better box because that would be a big factor. If anyone has advice on the volume and port size, It would help a lot.

A professionally designed box that is properly built will raise it up, not to mention adding more power.

Just made a new box. It's 46" wide 26" tall and 15" deep. It sits in my back seat because the thing is massive. The port is 12.75" x 13.5" x 18.5" long
