New Box Steup Help?

Hi guys i just got a jl 13w7 and need to make a box can someone please help me with the measurements of the wood i cant figure out for somereason how big the wood should be cut because of the 3/4 you have to subtract so here is my measurements. 32"x17"x16" now another thing should i go ported or keep it sealed? please someone help me out

so can you tell me if this is right

top is 32x16
bottom 32x16
sides16x15.5
back 30.5x15.5
front28.5x15.5
with a 2" port
is this correct

Your dimensions will yield a roughly 4.5 ft^3 box!

Why don't you build a box as supplied by the JL literature I provided?

All the dimensions are there. Since this sounds like your first enclosure, build the sealed on 1st.

im thinking of going ported what advantages and disadvantages will i have with sealed againt ported i always had ported
