I just picked up an older (3yrs?) Alpine type-s SWS-1040 single voice coil and ive been searching the net for a couple hours for specs on these subs, cant find a damn thing. Looking to play around with the enclosure on WINisd.
Anyone have info on these? Would prefer the specs.
Oh its for my brothers car for christmas and i need the dimension for his trunk - if i ask him he will know what im doing, lol. Its a 04 subaru impreza WRX Sedan, not wagon. Anyone have experience with these subs - help me out!?

i had 3 of em in the past and sounded very good in all kind of music

 

actually i am looking for the t/s parameters that i can enter into WINisd and check out what to build. The new type s subs are all dual voice coil and mine is single - that wont help, it'll be different from what i have, lol.

Thanks! I appreciate your help guys! Now one more question - since my sub is a single voice coil and not dual, how will that affect the parameters - Qms, Qts, Fs, etc. Will they be different enough so they wont work for mine or almost the same so i can get by?
