If you know what sub you are going to buy then go for it! But make sure to get the box specs from the manufacturers website for the sub you are going to buy.

If you aren't sure what speaker you are going to get I wouldn't build a box because you wont know what specs to build the box too. Every speaker has recommended specs for the right box and tuning. The sub will still work in any box but it might not sound right or have the best response. So if you want to put time into a good box, decide on your sub now.

Long story short, My friends a douche bag lol.. it was a friends sub, I dunno if it worked of not, but he punched the middle, and i guess it ****ed the coils or something pretty bad, then he tried to blow it in his other friends system cuz it was crazy good, and it didn;t work, so he plugged it in the wall

I barely believe him, I'm ganna ask him if i can have it anyways, Cuz theres no way you could do something that stupid to an Eclipse.. Aren't they pretty good, its like a 600 rms, dual voice coal, its a pretty nice 10"..

Anyways, Yea, I'm take a look at what i might end up buying later on, and you say the manufacturers website has all this info for the box ?.. Thanks man!
