Ported box for Orion H4

I have been waiting on many many parts for about 5 weeks now and I am beyond anxious to get my system done. My carpet FINALLY comes tomorow and my box/amp rack for my two 15's will FFIINNAALLYY be done. I have been messing around with all of my old speakers and came up with a box idea for my 10" Orion H4. Since the recommended air space is so little I want to make the box 2.65 inches deep and mount my sub facing in towards the box so that I don't have to worry about the depth of my sub woofer. (check the picture to see what I mean) Just wondering about yer opinions on this and whether you think it would be cruddy or if it would do me good. Check it out:

Cool

Sure, it will work.....

Don't forget to allow for the reverse mounting when you do the calculations for box volume......

I was trying to visualize this installed somewhere.....it would make a funky Home Theatre sub.....kinda like those turntable mounts made from acrylic and lit up with neon, sitting on a mountain of concrete....

Have fun putting it together.....
