it is just a box

 

i thought because it is a bigger box it would be more work, and cost more money. but it would be a good way too hide the subs and make it really tough to steal as it would probably be hard to carry a box that size

 

^ I tell ya, making a floor box will take half the time of putting the woofers in the side panels. And if you get some shallow mount 10s it won't be very deep either. It will still take up some room though.

 

with a floor box, which way should the subs and ports (if any) be firing

 

are you run it with the top off ?

 

You can always just put them in a box then bolt the box down. The subs won't get stolen, but you'll have a broken window if someone wants to ****** them.

 

I would run it with the top off, and I would like to avoid the broken window if possible
