Thanks.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by "trip" but the amp rack cover is getting redone as we speak. I need thicker Glass. that one was just temporary.Ill add the new pic when its done.

This was a weekend project for me and I know there's allot of people who could have done it faster but this was my first time working with fiberglass so I took it slow to prevent mistakes.

This is my setup

HU-JVC KW-AVX810
Speaker Amp-Kicker Impulse IX406
Sub Amp-Kicker Impulse IX2302
Front Speakers-Kicker KS6502
Rear Speakers-Kicker KS6930
Subs-2 10 inch Alpine Type R's and 1 12 inch Alpine Type R

150amp fused 2 gauge wire
Upgraded the BIG 3 to 0 gauge
1 farad capacitor
All 24k gold terminals and connectors

This build was on a three thousand dollar budget
I think I went over my budget a bit with all the building materials. Fiberglass is not cheap.
I built many custom systems over the years but this one I like the most cuz it was my first time working with fiberglass and I was very proud of the results. This system is Crisp,Clean,Powerful and very Loud.
Kicker is the ultimate Metalhead product!!!

HaHa yeah its not cheap. Theres so many things that come up that you need that you didnt budget for.I logged many hours into this system and spent a ton of cash. lol could you imagine what Visions or any other stereo shop would have charged to do all that work?
Yeah mine is the 05. Hey Does your clutch ever loose pressure and stick to the floor. Mine does that on really hot humid days. just wondering what it is and if that has ever happened to you?

Custom work like that would indeed cost you an arm and a leg, if you can and enjoye doing it yourself you save a ton.

I have only had the car for about 5 months but I have not had the cluth act other then normal so far. Can't help you there.

So how does it sound so far? Did you keep your rear 6x9's or did you remove them to allow the base easier access to the inside?

Haha funny you mentioned that. Only a true Altima owner would ask that. Those trunks are sealed up good. hard to get the sound into the cab. I always planed on removing my 6x9's and putting round ports in there locations.but when you start adding ports you start messing with tones and sound waves. You cant just make a hole and call it a port. I first need to find out the total volume of my trunk to determine the port size and depth. This will be my next project. Essentially turning my hole car into a big bandpass sub box. I plan to remove the rear 6x9's and fiberglass the rear pillers to fit some 5 1/4's or something. Haven't decided on a size yet. but I know they will be component. But as of right now the sound is unreal. That box was tuned perfect and make my subs sound better then Ive ever herd them sound before.
