Project White Devil

2003 Pontiac Grand Am
Ok so last night I I get this call from a young local. I guess he heard of me from a friend. He's a kid fresh outta high school and hes been working road construction all summer, and making a ton of cash doing it.With all this disposable income in the bank, Project White devil, is in production. He has no real idea of what he wants done. all he wants is a Fiberglass Box and amp rack. and he wants it to fill up his hole trunk. I love these jobs, when the costumer has no real preference of anything and just trusts my judgment on the hole build.

This is what Im working with.

Alpine Touch screen HU (Haven't decided on a model yet)
2 Alpine M1000 sub amps
1 Alpine p300 4 ch amp
2 4 Farad Capacitors
2 12 inch Alpine Type R's
1 12 inch Alpine Type X
Deep cycle Battery
HO alternator
0 Gauge wire
o Gauge "Big 3"

I tried convincing the dude to run all three of the same subs, ether all Type R's or all Type X's but he wont budge. the guy is firm on running the 2 R's and the single X. since its his car and he's the one paying the bill, Ill just sit quiet and do what he wants.

I couldn't sleep last night thinking about this build. Im starting with the box and moving on to the amp rack after that. I know what I'm planning for the sub box. The amp rack I have no clue yet of a design. Im open to ideas if any of you guys wanna through them out to me.
This project starts today. I should get the skeleton of the sub box done tonight. but most of my day will be running around shopping for building materials. Skeleton of the amp rack has to be done by tomorrow night so I can start fiberglass by Friday.
Ill post a ton of pictures of my progress each day and I look forward for to all your comments, suggestions, and criticism.

So he has front component speakers already? And what's with the two mega caps? That money can be better spent.

This picture shows how much I need a new set of clamps

The boxes are just providing some weight on the freshly glued amp trays.

Before you comment on the fleece, when I went to the fabric place today they had no fleece except pink bears or soccer *****.

Just a little tip. Cut your paint brushes down so there stiffer.Helps when applying the resin to soak all the way through the fleece.
