Rear seat / trunk pass through Sub enclosures
There is at least an inch between the surround and the cross bar behind the trim. Yes, the subs are bigger than the opening, it was a real pain getting them in there. The rack is ss threaded rod, cap nuts, bolted straight through the rear deck. Again, that was a pain. But it was the best I could do, so I didn't loose all my trunk space.
At first they farted through the 6x9's. (they're above the amps). So, I took it all apart and put enclosures on the 6x9's. The trunk is completely sealed from the interior, stuffed all the holes with closed cell foam and covered with dynamat. Lined the trunk, rear deck and doors with dynamat. Sounds pretty good! It's not hard hitting like a tuned box, it was supposed to be a smooth freq response for SQ. It needs more power, those amps only give them 380wrms each. 500 would be better.
