Should i even bother?

Should i even bother to bould a box for my clif designs cd150c sub? i have it in sealed box from future shop now and its ok, but i want to build a ported box. i allready have a big sheat of 3/4 mdf, but i dont know if it will be worth it...
and plus i cant find anywhere the t/s parameters.

so i was thinking i will build the box for a type r 15'' alpine sub and when i get enough money il buy one. untill then il just put the clif designs in it.

the only thing stoping my from building it is that i cant find any specs for it, and i dont know if it would even be worth it.

The Clif CD150c is a tree stump puller.
I ran the CD120c and had a blast with it.
I sold my CD120c for two 12" 03 model type r's and was pissed that I fell into the type R hype.

I emailed Clif for you.

Whoa man! you are the best!!

i emailed them i and have never heard back .. how did you get such a quick response?
however, i bealeve that those specs are for the cd1500c- which is a newer model and is 1500, 750 rms. the one i have clearly says on the box that it is 1200,600rms... on the clif designs website there is the cd1500c that you can look at, but thats not the one i have- the one on the website has a silver-ish logo in the middle mine is not like that..its kinda blue greenish

the one i have is not such a tree stump puller- i have it hooked up to a ultimate t31000d at 2 ohms and it only get as loud as 128 db right in from of the cone. this is messured on a db messurer from wallmart so i dont know if it is accurate.. i do however have the most bass in the entire town..

mine looks more like this -- http://www.carreview.com/cat/car-audio/subwoofers/clif-designs/PRD_348019_1808crx.aspx - but its not dual 4 ohm its dual 2 ohm

im so lost...

No problem, the old tech guy Erik Harbour was the greatest! The new guy is trying very hard to fill his shoes.

To my knowledge the only difference between the Cd150C and the 1500 are cosmetic.

You are correct on the dual 2 ohm thing so better watch your T3-1000 until you warm your sub coils up.

Make yourself the vented box Clif recommends and you will be away.

My 12" that looked like yours was in a 2.5cu at 40hz and could pull stumps and so shall yours.
