When you phone it will ask you the ext. of the person you would like to talk to.
132 will take you to Rick's private number.
He will be glad to answer any questions you have.

I think if you already have the materials, and you still have to ask if it's worth it... you're in the wrong hobby

I just want to know if it would be worth it to build a box for a sub that is really cheap FYI . Would you build a box that takes lots of time and effort if in the end the result sucks because the sub sucks in the first place? I think not.

I would...

I would do as much as I could to make my equipment sound as good as it could, low end, or high end... spending 3-4 hours to make a box that could make my equipment sound better isn't a waste of time as far as I'm concerned; even if I end up going back to the original box after testing the new box.

you seem to be against making a new box which is fine, but why ask the question then?

What specs are you looking for, or need, that aren't given in the second post?

CD150C
15” Competition Subwoofer
750 W RMS
1500 W Max
duel 2 ohm coil
400 oz Magnet
Mounting Dia. 14.1”
Mounting Depth 9.38”

I see that you may have the 600w version, but I can't see it being a whole lot different, as far as box specs go... I'd give it a try, and if that's not good enough for you, why don't you email the Co. that makes the sub...

i have spent hours and hours on the internet searching for the specs, and every website has different numbers. i have also emailed clif designs with no reply.

but now i have a nother question - when calculating box volume , lets say i wanted a 4 ft3 box how much space does the port take up? im useing a 4 inch round tube? i dont know how long yet. does the inside of the tube take up space? or just the tube itself?
