Unhappy subs ain't workin no more

dear car audio guy,

i noticed my subs stopped working. at first i noticed a low humming noise and then my subs finally just cut-off altogether... i still get sound from the other speakers. I pulled over and my amp light is still on... this has happened before, and i found out the problem: i blew the fuse on the power wire connected to my battery... so i repaired that and everythang was all good... now that it's happened again, i checked the power wire cartrigde fuse, and i looks fine to me.... wut do i do????

run an ohm test using the voice coils of the sub, they should be right around 4 ohms or 8 ohms or whatever the impedence is rated at, and if there is no reading you blew one up lol, but run every test you can think of to make sure its one thing.
