Wall or no wall?

So here's the question, I have a 96 Eagle Talon and I'm having a hard time deciding on what design to go with. I want to use it for SPL but I also want it for daily use.

If I do the wall behind the front seats (sub facing forward toward windshield), I know it's ideal for SPL, but does that sound like for music? Or...if I aim the sub at the rear hatch window (facing up), will it sound better AND do well in SPL?

I want the best bang for the buck...the sub is an Orion HCCA 15.2 and the amp is an Orion HCCA D5000

Thanks mangs!

I run with a wall in my Neon AND all music sounds great... if your going for SPL then definately go with a wall.

This might be a stupid question...but does the wall have to go all the way to the top?

Doesn't the wall break some kind of law for seeing out the rearview mirror tho? Not that I care, but if were to get into an accident, the insurance company (ICBC bastards) can blame it on my visibility can't they?

if the talon is a hatchback just do a regular box, you can probobly get it to be almost as loud as a wall if you have limited experiance it will probobly be louder than a wall and also you won't have the issues or your car being slowed down by carting hundreds of pounds of wood for the wall, gas mileage decrease, visibility decrease, and of course the risk of having your stuff jacked because you can't hide it
