I've pretty much come to the conclusion that I will make 2 boxes for the marquis. 1 for daily and one for comps. There really isn't a good compromise. Not if you really like the lows and don't have LARGE power to make it meter loud.
what about an adjustable port?

I'm not sure yet... still really thinking about a 6th order in the back seat area, even if it qualifies as a wall. Then I think I can get a good compromise.

I can't port forward with a removable port. Not enough depth for daily tuning without needing to bend it.

I've modeled over 30 boxes now for the marquis... its driving me nuts. Got many sketchups... only a couple might just work... Going to have to try.

hahaha, I wanna see how the cop car turns out. I actually don't think I've ever seen one with anything more than an upgraded radio

Crabmustang posted a pic of his old town car in my Marquis Build log on the first page.

Pretty much the same kind of car. I'm just going with something a little different.

You would have loved the first taxi I owned back in the 80s.....1985 Ford Crown Victoria ex OPP Interceptor package (351 Cleveland, 4speed O/D and the HD suspension), buried the needle in the damn thing one night on the 401 (240k/hour +)......

Canton Pullman 6.5"s Coaxs in 4 corners and 2 ported 10"s in the trunk with around 1,200W total....it was the best taxi to take to a concert you'll ever ride in.....

I've got a pic somewhere, I'll see if I can find it.....
