what would be the best box for a p1 pnch 12"

what would be the best box for a p1 pnch 12"

well i just bought a p1 12'' and have it in a box i built that is 2cf tuned to 28hz so just wondering the dsugest that it should be tuned to 36.3hz and it should be 1.79cf is my box ok for it ?? or do i have to build another one btw this is for my room

it should be ok in the box you have now. but if its because it doesnt sound right its because it doesnt lol. ive played around with the P1's and they sound just horrible... missing notes here and there and i find that they sound "peaky"..

y did you change sub??

well the infinity is almost blowen and i got the p1 new for $69 at future shop so ya and i just wanted to make sure it would be ok and it sounds pretty good nice deep notes . what is the best way to break in a new sub ??

Its a $70 sub, I wouldn't bother with a break in. Just hook it up and enjoy it.

the best box would be the one it came in so that you can return it ...

the P1's don't seem to like anything but a small sealed box.

I tried 3 different sizes of sealed enclosures with my P1
1.25 cubes
0.95 cubes
0.75 cubes

I had the best sound outta the 0.95 cubic foot one (stuffed with minimal fill)

My best advice is dont go over its rated RMS. Mine blew after 3 days on roughly 200rms
