Tip #2

RSVP to the organizations you are wishing to attend.

Book your hotel(s).

Plan your road trip - be prepared for construction and other delays

Purchase out of country insurance - this is very cheap, and is worth every penny and more.

Read all the required information for the organization and be sure to have all required items (eg. cds, rulebooks, drip pans, etc).

Get american money and be sure to clear your credit cards in case of emergency.

Tip #3

READ YOUR RULEBOOK!

This is very important. Make sure you read the rulebook very subjectivly.. make sure that EVERYTHING about your car and install is for the class you intend to compete in.

I have seen people look through the rulebook and plead to several different judges just to try to get someone DQ'd from thier class because they didn't want to loose.

Tip #4

Be sure to bring all the proper ID to get across the border.

Birth Certificate, Drivers Licence and Passport are recommended.

Make sure you know the hotel you are staying at and the duration of your stay.

Also bring any documentation that can prove that you are indeed going where you say you are going.

^^^ This one is huge. Started testing with a new amp the other day and everything was screwy. Finally found out that I had a bad power connection.

yeah...make sure you have fresh and/or spare batteries for your remote (if you use one)...rob vo almost lost to me once going in with a fair lead but he couldn't burp cause his remote was low on batteries and the line of sight was bad. luckily for him at the last second, he got it to work....
