usac finals in kansas city

what a great road trip, the show was awsome, well run with the exception of being a bit behind schedule, the chiefs game was some thing i will never forget, here are some results
james chrevette aka westec, 1st place and best of show in the basic pro class, its very hard to win your class let alone win best of show. i had a chance to listen to all the cars in his class and he really deserved to win, made me proud to be a canadian. mike(sorry never got you last name) and his co-pilot heather got 3rd in a very tough class full with good cars, bryce "shady lady" lindseth, aka bootleg guy placed i think top 6 and we are waiting for confirmation. i placed 5th in a pretty tough class(i competed against 2 previous world champions anthony davis and chris pate). i learned alot about what the judges are looking for in the install, some sensible, somw not. i easily could have gotten 20 extra points on install and placed 3rd but now i know and next year will be different. i will be building a basic pro car in westecs class to try and keep the title in canada and im sure that all the other canadians that were there left very motivated to improve for next year. all in all i had a great time with a great group of people and am already looking forward to next year and hope that more people get on the usac band wagon and come out and support next year because it sure was a helluva lota fun. btw if anyonw wabts to know how long it takes to get to kansas city towing a trailer behing a dodge ram pickup, its 40 STRAIGHT hours and 3100 kilometers and i dont think the truck we were in will ever smell the same. thanks alot james for bringing usac to canada and getting me involved again in competeing i had tons of fun and look forward to supporting usac next year

^^ me too! 3100 k, yes I know that 1 I think we did Memphis 3400 km last year in what 39hrs none stop. Well a few, but ***** out when we could.
Good to here the positive coments on the trip. To say all of the Canadians stayed i the top 10 is great! I'll try for next year. Lisa and I think every other year is much easyer on the growing family and budget too!
