2013 Ford Flex
Ford is upgrading Flex for the 2013 model year with a new look and even more technology to make the big wagon safer, more fuel efficient and easier to drive.
“Flex has the highest retention rate of any vehicle in the Ford line-up,” said Mark Fields, president of The Americas. “With technologies not found in other full-size utilities, even better fuel economy and a more modern, sophisticated look, we’re offering people even more reasons to choose Flex.”
The seven-seater comes with the latest generation of MyFord Touch (with a faster touchscreen), the rear inflatable seatbelts that debuted on the new Explorer, and collision avoidant technologies (active cruise control, collision warning with brake support, and blind sport information with cross traffic alert). The radar based active cruise control can reportedly sense changes in speed as low as 0.4 km/h from as far back as 137 metres.
