Postponing minor car repairs could cost you down the road

You’re looking at your holiday shopping list, and while rushing to the mall, you notice your car is making a strange noise.

If you’re like many consumers, there’s a good chance that you will spend your money on those remaining gifts, rather than take your car to the shop. But a recent survey shows that putting off small repairs in the short-term could cost you a lot more down the road.

The survey found that drivers in lower-income households and drivers aged 18 to 34 were the most likely to delay necessary repair work on their primary car.
