i'm deciding to get a 300W sub or 2 150W subs

any opinions?

also~ the amp said 200W RMS/ 300W MAX
if i run on a those subs.
since the amp is only 200RMS, but subs are 300RMS
will it kill the amp faster?

well, a common misconception that i see EVERYDAY is that higher "wattage" means louder. Very Very not true.

Also, the power rating of the sub has no effect on the amp, that just tells you how powerful an amp you can use on the sub.

My opinion, if you have lots of room, go for the 2 subs, and maybe put them in a ported box if you have enough space. If space is an issue, just get the 1 higher rated sub and put it in a sealed box.

the amp said 65w RMS x2

can it goes 150w MAX x2??
since it's a 300w amp

also, does ported box make big different than a sealed?
what about a dual sealed and 2 single seal? any different?
