Just saw this, I'd go 120 right away. Also you should have at least 2ga especially if your going to move up to the 1000/1. You might even need a 150 amp fuse up front for that beast.

so now im thinking 120 ANL up front, move my 80 amp to my rear distribution block for the HD and prolly put in a 20 amp for my audison? and yea i would love the 1000/1 but only if i get a new car, the way my setup is the HD fits perfect behind my seats that 1000/1 is WAY to bi for me to mount it back there lol

ok so im back to this problem...now i got a 100amp ANL inline fuse by the battery but now the 80amp AGU fuse for my JL amp keeps blowing when i turn the volume to about 35(i set it to max at 45 and my deck goes to 62) is i tpossibble that a setting on my amp is wrong or is my car totally f***ed? my voltage drop from 13.9 to 11.9 when its at 35!!!! big 3 will hopefully be done this weekend so any other suggestions?

lack of amperage from the alt. beef it up. shove a 2gauge line to your distro block. then you should be ok. the reason y your voltage drops that much is because your out of amperage... so the voltage just drops and then blows fuses here and there withever is the weakest.

this happend to me with my DD amp. blow fuses till i put in a bigger wire

could also be a crappy ground. did big 3 yet??

Princess Auto, it's like $3.80/ft for 1/0. I paid $4.29/ft for 2/0ga.

i gotta ask whats the difference in 1/0, 2/0, and 0 gauge wiring? i would assume 0 gauge is the thickest but then y is there also just plain 2ga:S

0 is 1/0, 2/0 is larger than 1/0, 2ga is between 4 and 1/0.
